Fermoy Classical Music Society
We are a group of performers, teachers and enthusiasts who wish to promote a vibrant, joyous and sustainable classical music performance culture in Fermoy and the surrounding region.
We aim to promote excellence in performance in a non-competitive context and to create an accessible forum for the performance of Early music, as well as compositions in the Baroque, Classical and Romantic styles in addition to samples 20th century and contemporary music. Typically, we present both young and adult musicians, all of whom have a proven record of excellence in performance.
To date, we have organised a number of highly successful concerts in Fermoy. We hope that our website will provide a permanent record of some our best performances and that it will provide an appropriate on-line platform for some of our talented musicians. We hope that it will enable people who cannot attend concerts in Fermoy, to experience some of the outstanding musical talent that the area has to offer.
We also feel that it will help to lift spirits during these difficult times.
